Europe Match 1 Report

The Tactic Fabric (7) vs. Revoltados Multigaming Clan (10)
Battle #1 in The Tactic Fabric's Guild Hall (Burning Isle)

Tag build: Ranger Spike with two Monks
Rev build: Ele Spike with 2 Monks and a Bonder

  • The battle started off in a deadlock. Rev targeted Tag's target caller (number 2 R/E) which helped control Tag's spike damage. This tactic, combined with their Life Barrier Monk, allowed them to maintain their footing.

  • Both sides suffered heavy casualties, though Tag ultimately came out on top. With a renewed sense of strength, Tag pushed Rev back in to their base.

  • Rev held their ground at the bridge, using the terrain to block the Ranger spike. The tactic slowed down Tag for a bit, but eventually failed. Soon after, Tag cleaned up the remaining enemies and NPCs for the win.
"The chosen map is of importance in this match, since it is hard for us or the enemy to used split up formations, domination of the flag area is the most important tactic."

The Tactic Fabric (7) Vs Revoltados Multigaming Clan (10)
Battle #2 in Revoltados Multigaming Clan's Guild Hall (Burning Isle)

Tag build: Ranger Spike with two Monks
Rev build: Ele Spike with 2 Monks and a Bonder

  • Neither side made large build adjustments prior to the second battle.

  • Rev once again targeted Tag's target caller (the R/E). This didn't work as planned, as they failed to score sufficient kills.

  • At the two-minute mark, Rev lost their flag runner giving Tag a morale bonus. Shortly thereafter, Rev lost their flag runner once again, giving Tag a firm hold on the flag.

  • In a virtual replay of the previous battle, Tag once again pushed Rev back into their base and began the assault on their enemy's NPCs.

  • Rev targeted the same opponent repeatedly, which ultimately led to their demise. Though they scored a few kills, they were unable to turn the tide in their favor.

  • Tag made short work of Rev's NPCs and quickly turned their sights on the Guild Lord, winning the match.
"In this match we managed to inflict a lot more damage while gaining control of the flag stand, which enabled us to push towards the enemy base faster. This was advantageous for us as we could hold the enemy flag runner in a defensive position and attempt to kill any enemy players attempting to come from the resurrection point in an attempt to gain sanctuary inside their base."

The Tactic Fabric (7) Vs Revoltados Multigaming Clan (10)
Battle #3 in The Tactic Fabric's Guild Hall (Burning Isle)

Tag build: Pressure with R/W's and Disease
Rev build: Ele Split spike with two monks

  • Each team revamped their builds for the final match: Rev tried to change to a split build to fight the ranger spike, and switched out their good old R/W's Bunny Thumpers with a lot of Disease. This choice seemed to hurt Rev as they didn't have enough Removal to deal with the pressure build, and they couldn't fire off a good spike.

  • Tag quickly bullied Rev back to their base, cut down their enemy's NPCs, and achieved victory within eight short minutes.
"Once we have the enemy on the run, it’s very important for us to get into the enemy base as fast as possible and eliminate as many NPCs before the enemy team is resurrected. Once again, we used the Ranger spirit to keep ourselves in a position of safety for a short period of time--even healing the spirit if it’s attacked."
