The Guild Wars Ladder is the marker to which all guilds aspire. The topmost 1,000 guilds are listed according to their ranking, which is derived through a win/loss record that is weighted, with every GvG match, to take into consideration the strength and ranking of the opposing guild. See below for the rankings of the topmost guilds, and check back regularly. For the Guild Wars Ladder is ever-changing, and you never know which guild you might see at the top!
This ladder displays the results of guild-versus-guild combat. After each GvG match, a guild gets a rating change based on whether it won or lost, which affects that guild's rank. For the current season, the ladder shows the global rank and rating of the 1,000 guilds. The guild at the top of the ladder with rank #1 has the highest rating in the world.
Global and Change Statistics
Above the ladder itself, you can click Global Statistics to view ladder information by region. Clicking Change Statistics shows the guilds with the most degree of change in a given time period. Additionally, you may click any of the guilds listed here or on the main ladder to see more detailed statistics.
This page shows the top guilds, sorted by rank by default. Each guild has a green up arrow or red down arrow beside it, indicating whether that guild has recently gained or lost rank. You can sort this page by different means, display a greater number of guilds, and search for a guild by name or tag.
Single Guild Statistics
When you click on a guild name, you will see a separate webpage for that guild. This page shows a graph of the guild's rank over time and a historical list of its previous ladder standings.
Q.P. (Qualifying Points)
High finishing guilds and individuals can earn qualifier points (QPs) in daily automated tournaments. At the end of each season, guilds and individuals that have earned at least 20 QPs earn an invitation to compete in the monthly playoffs for that season for real world prizes.
