Citizens and Friends of Cantha,

Emperor Kisu requests the pleasure of your company at the annual Dragon Festival to celebrate Cantha's glorious history and its even more promising future. Join your fellow adventurers at the Shing Jea Monastery during the July 4th weekend to commemorate the trials and hardships that threatened the Empire, and to honor the heroes who overcame them.

—Captain Rujiyo, Imperial Guard

Join Us for the Dragon Festival!

Emperor Kisu

Put on your best imperial finery and journey to Shing Jea Monastery for the annual Dragon Festival! This seasonal event kicks off with the reopening of the Shing Jea Boardwalk and some of our most popular mini-games, including the Dragon Arena and Rollerbeetle Races. Adventure-seekers can test their mettle all weekend long by reenacting battles from Cantha's past and participating in special festival quests and missions. On the last day of the festival, Emperor Kisu will make appearances in Shing Jea Monastery to kick off the final reenactment.

Participate in the festivities to earn Victory Tokens, which can be redeemed for a variety of fun and tasty festival treats. Participants who demonstrate their supreme festival spirit by collecting 250 Victory Tokens can receive a commemorative Imperial Dragon Mask directly from the Emperor himself!

The 2009 Dragon Festival begins after the live build on Thursday, July 2, 2009. Games and quest reenactments are available all weekend long, but missions and the finale occur on a set schedule. Missions are active for 30 minutes after the call to arms goes out, and Emperor Kisu has scheduled personal appearances every two hours from 2:00 AM until 11:59 PM on Sunday, July 5.

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate Cantha’s rich history and perhaps become a little bit richer yourself—the Dragon Festival awaits!
