Guild Wars Halloween Costumes

Dressing up for Halloween was never so stylish. As a special treat—each with their own tricks—we're offering two eerie costumes to match the holiday spirit. They're available for purchase in the Guild Wars In-Game Store and the NCsoft Store. These fantastic, decorative garments allow you to dress up as a stylized version of the sinister Lich Lord, and let you don the guise of a member of the Lunatic Court! These costumes fit into the costume slots on your character portrait, so they can be worn over your existing armor without affecting your stats!

Raiment of the Lich

Strike terror wherever you go when you dress your characters in this sinister Raiment of the Lich costume. With the hood up, the darkest of haloes will hang over your head. Strip back your cowl, and you'll reveal a familiar face that's been horribly changed. While it may not come with your own Scepter of Orr, your cloven feet and ebony wings will surely command respect among the legions of the undead!

Lunatic Court Finery

Join Mad King Thorn as a member of his Lunatic Court! You’ll fit right in among the Mad King’s inner circle when you outfit your character in this festive Lunatic Court Finery costume. If the flame about your helm is too hot, you can always take it off, but be careful you don't lose your head at the sight underneath. It's the perfect thing to wear to this year's spookiest celebration!

Buy the Raiment of the Lich and Lunatic Court Finery costumes separately or as a pair. Each costume costs $6.99 (€5.99/£4.99) singly, but for a limited time (until November 21, 2010) we're offering both costumes for $9.99 (€8.99/£6.99). Once you've made this one-time purchase, the costume keys will be applied to your account, and the costumes can be created for any of your characters.

Next, speak to any [Costume Maker] NPC to receive your costume. They can be found next to the [Festival Hats] NPC in Kamadan, Lion's Arch, the Shing Jea Monastery, and the Great Temple of Balthazar.

The costumes that you have purchased for your account will appear in the NPC's dialog window. Select the one you want to create. Your costume will appear in your inventory. Double-click the costume icon to equip it, or just drag the icons from your inventory into the costume slots in your character panel.
