Guild Wars Trial

Welcome to your 14-day, 10-hour free trial of Guild Wars®!

To create your Guild Wars® account with the access key provided, you must first install the game client on your computer.

Download and Installation Instructions:

1. You will first need to download the client zip file.
2. You should be prompted to open or save the file. Click the Save button. We recommend that you save to an easily accessibly location, such as your Desktop.
3. Extract the GWSETUP.EXE file from the zip file and run it.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

Account Creation Instructions:

1. Launch the game client. This will take you to the Guild Wars® account login screen.
2. Click the Create Account or Add Access Key option on the login screen.
3. Click the Create a new Guild Wars account checkbox.
4. Select your location.
5. Enter your 25-digit access key and click the Next> button.
6. Click the Next> button to create the account.
7. Enter your mailing address followed by the Next> button.
8. Enter your preferred e-mail address and password twice, and then the Next> button.
   NOTE: Be sure to enter a valid and accessible e-mail address, because it will be used for the following:
   • It will be your game account name (what you use to log into the game).
   • The initial account creation confirmation e-mail will be sent there.
   • A new password will be sent there if you have forgotten yours.
   • A confirmation e-mail will be sent there if you decide to change the e-mail address on your account.
9. Click the OK button.
10. You're ready to play!

Please Note: The access key is one-time use and cannot be reused of transferred. The 14-day, 10-hour trial access key may not be used with an active Guild Wars® Prophecies game account. Guild Wars® trial accounts require activation with a retail access key at the end of the trial period to continue game-play.
